I put on Jergens self-tanning lotion at home last night and haven’t had a shower since then. I want to get in the tanning bed today. Someone told me this will make me turn orange, or something like that (something bad) will happen if I get in a tanning bed with at-home self-tan lotion still on. (As opposed to tanning bed lotion). Is that true? Basically I need to know if I should rinse off this lotion before I go to the tanning bed. Or will it even make any difference? Since there is little info on this, I think my friend is wrong. ?

I want to tan outside tomorrow and was wondering what the best lotion is and how low of a SPF i can use and still get color w/o being burned

I have fair skin and don’t want to look orange or streaky after using self tanner.

One of the girls working at my tanning place used to be really pale, and after christmas break, she got SUPER dark. She said she started using PotenC tanning lotion. I bought a step 2 lotion (the purple bottle) since I’ve already got a base tan, and it’s added some color but not much. I see other girls who tan and get SUPER dark and that’s how I wanna get. I know it’s possible for my skin because I somehow got my skin there when I was like 16, but for some reason it’s just not getting very dark anymore. I dunno why. Anyways, any suggestions as to what tanning lotions work THE best. I dont want lotions that’ll turn me orange cuz I’ve seen some tanning bed lotions that’ll make u just about as orange as sunless tanners. Also, the back of my hands and face are TONS lighter than the rest of me, so I need help getting that extra hard to tan parts! Thanks!

I just need a tanning lotion for my legs. Its naturally medium-tanned olive already but i just want to even out the skin tone as my knees’ skin tone is quite daker than the rest of my legs.

If anybody has used that Johnsons or Dove tanning lotion, how was it? What are the good and bad things about it?

I am trying a tanning bed for the first time ever and I just came back from Florida with a bit of color but I want to work on my tan for the summer. I bought a small bottle of tanning bed lotion called bearly legal and I noticed that it does not contain any spf. Is there such thing as a type of tanning bed lotion that contains an spf with uva and uvb protection? I know I should not use regular tanning lotion on the beds since it can damage the bulbs, but is it a good idea to use it on my face since my face easily burns? What do you think about bronzers in a lotion? I have light skin but tan easily. Serious answers please from people that really know and please DO NOT tell me how bad tanning beds are, I already know! I know that australian gold is a good product, but im not sure if this specific lotion is made for indoor or outdoor tanning?
