I have read sooo many reviews on gradual tanners. And everybody just says different things. Does anyone know of a gradual tanning lotion that looks natural (not a orangey colour or streaky). Any recommendations on the best one? I would say my skin coulring would be pale to medium. I’ve heard that if you are paleish and get the medium to dark lotion instead of fair to medium it works better, not as orange and builds up better. I could be wrong? helpp!
One of the girls working at my tanning place used to be really pale, and after christmas break, she got SUPER dark. She said she started using PotenC tanning lotion. I bought a step 2 lotion (the purple bottle) since I’ve already got a base tan, and it’s added some color but not much. I see other girls who tan and get SUPER dark and that’s how I wanna get. I know it’s possible for my skin because I somehow got my skin there when I was like 16, but for some reason it’s just not getting very dark anymore. I dunno why. Anyways, any suggestions as to what tanning lotions work THE best. I dont want lotions that’ll turn me orange cuz I’ve seen some tanning bed lotions that’ll make u just about as orange as sunless tanners. Also, the back of my hands and face are TONS lighter than the rest of me, so I need help getting that extra hard to tan parts! Thanks!
First off I would like to say I’m not talking about sunless tanners, I’m taking about lotion that helps you tan better outside in the sun. I have a few questions that I need answered.
1. Is Hawaiian tropics tanning lotion a lotion for outside tanning or a sunless tanner?
2. Will it make me orange? I had a dark tan before, but its fading fast.
3. Do you put the lotion on your face?

The good news is there are new ones that don’t scream “FAKE TAN”. Here’s dermatologist and author Dr Doris J Day to show how to choose and apply sunless tanners to your face. Sunless tanners: How to apply sunless tanning lotions to your face Lots of Sunless Tanning Products to Choose From: There are many products to choose from for your body and your face. In fact, you can apply the product in layers every day or even every few hours to build up to the skin color you want. And don’t worry – your face is not going to turn orange from using these tanners. You will have a very natural healthy glow if you use these products correctly. www.howdini.com Self tanners: How to apply self tanning lotion to your legs We have this problem every summer: we try to use self tanners, but instead of tan, we get streaky, blotchy, fakey looking arms and legs. And don’t get us started on the face! But now we’re tanned and gorgeous, thanks to the guiding hand of dermatologist and author Dr. Doris J. Day. The legs are a very difficult part of they body to apply the self tanners to. This is because your legs have varying skin thickness levels and self tanners only penetrate through the upper layer of your skin. This means that areas that are thicker on your leg, such as your knees and your ankles, absorb more of the self tanning product and leave you with an uneven tan. In those areas youll want to use very little product. Here’s how to get natural looking tanned legs and avoid a fake tan look: Exfoliate First The most important thing you can do to avoid a fake tan streaked look is to exfoliate your legs. Simply take a shower and use a scrub. This gets rid of the upper layer of dead skin which can absorb more of the product and leave your legs looking streaky or uneven. After your shower pat your skin so that its moist. Do not use any other moisturizer first; the self tanning lotion will be your moisturizer. One Leg at a Time Apply the lotion to one leg at a time. Start by squeezing a little bit of self tanner in the palm of your hand (about the size of a quarter). With the lotion in one hand, take your free hand and …
I love to tan in a tanning bed salon this time of year and I am searching for the ULTIMATE BEST INDOOR TANNING LOTION EVER! I am so tired of the tanning salon employees having no earthly idea what their best lotions are and haven’t even heard of a good one to speak of. I have spent a lot of time searching on the internet, but without trying each individual one I have no idea which ones to choose. Every tanning lotion maker claims that their lotions are the best. I tan fairly easy and I’m not a huge fan of bronzers. (maybe a little bronzing action is okay, but not a lot of them) This is for Experienced Tanners Only Please. I want ya’ll to help me narrow my search. Please Help. Thanks.
