Is Tanning Salon any good?

I’ve never been to a tanning salon. But I’m thinking about going to one. I know its popular amoung us teenage girls,and all the health risks. But I’m wondering what its like inside,is it scary at first,and how long do you have to stay in for to get a nice tan? Would you suggest spray tanning,or a tanning booth? Thanks ♥

I love to tan… especially in the winter time to beat the winter blues. I go about once a week, just to keep from getting pasty white. Spray tans obviously don’t have as many health risks as the beds do, but I think they tend to look fake, so I like going to a tanning bed better. It’s not scary at all… if you don’t like the lay down beds, most tanning salons have stand up ones that aren’t as claustrophobic. How long you go in depends on your natural skin tone.. I’m a bit darker and I have been tanning for years so I go in 20 minutes every time.
